Missouri is pretty pro homeschooling unlike some states. We can only hope that more state and federal politicians take a look at these numbers and begin realizing that throwing money at public schools is not the answer.

I am a 62 year women who thinks after you reach a certain age of paying in school taxes that exceeds any other amount on my taxes should at some point be lowered if not taken off, and I want to know if homeschooling parents pay school taxes??
Homeschoolers pay the same taxes that everyone else pay. The only difference between homeschoolers and non homeschoolers is that our children do not go to a public or private school.
Yes, as Joe states, Homeschoolers pay the same tax rates as other homeowners. We get no deductions on our income taxes or any other financial assistance. Our students did/do extremely well on standardized testing (95th - 99th percentile). And yes, they are socialized.
